Coinbase Services Account for 49% of Q3 2026 Net Revenue

For the third quarter of 2026, Coinbase reported $570 million in subscription and services revenue, up 3% quarter over quarter and accounting for 49% of net revenue, versus 41% a year earlier. Transaction revenue totaled approximately $590 million; executives attributed 25% of that segment to prediction markets and derivatives. The larger services share reduces dependence on transaction fees, not necessarily exposure to crypto-market activity: services include stablecoin revenue, blockchain rewards, interest and financing income, rather than payments alone.

CD&R Reportedly Targets Global Payments Buyout

Finextra, citing the Financial Times, reported that CD&R is targeting a buyout of Global Payments, which carries approximately $40 billion in enterprise value. That figure is not an offer price, and the report establishes neither a signed agreement nor committed financing or a closing timetable. The potential ownership change does not establish any change to merchant pricing, processing services or distribution contracts.
